Others Try But Have a Hard Time Succeeding

Nov 11, 2009

Other neighborhoods may have events, cookouts and even block parties; but few other neighborhood can do what Baxter Village has been able to do.

Town Center is Alive With Fall Festival (Evans Coghill Homes)

This past Saturday, hundreds of people blocked the streets of Baxter Village Town Center for a day spent with their neighbors. Some came for the artwork,  others came to jump in the blow moon bounce (they were a lot younger then me), others came to hear the bands. I came for the food samples from the restaurants (Six Pence Pub was my favorite!) The event was the Baxter Village Fall Festival,  the ninth annual one! No matter the reason why they came, what people enjoyed is what makes Baxter Village extraordinary – a great feeling of community. In Baxter Village, community means spending time with your neighbors because you want to and it is comfortable. Since the neighborhood was on the drawing board, creating community was a goal, and today you can live it.

If you were there on Saturday, you know what I mean. If not, go ahead and put Saturday, November 6, 2010 on your calendar. The next Fall Festival is already on the calendar!

Only in Baxter Village, can you enjoy such a great feeling of community.
