Construction In SouthPark Is Heating Up!

The SouthPark section of South Charlotte has some of the hottest properties in the state! The upscale SouthPark Mall is a famed shopping destination, and its popularity has made the neighborhoods around it prime real estate – we should know as we’re building new homes in SouthPark! Currently, a large mixed-use project set to be developed on the existing Colony apartments site is the talk of the town, as it will include apartments, a hotel, office space, and retail space; all great things for people moving to this area of town. There are several other development projects in the works also, making the SouthPark region a development hot spot.

Evans Coghill is thrilled to be building in SouthPark. Our newest community, Sharon Oaks, is a small enclave of single-family homes ranging from 3,593 to 4,025 square feet, with 4 or 5 bedrooms. Our homes feature real hardwood flooring, quartz countertops, outdoor fireplaces, and master bedrooms on the main or upper levels.  Prices range from $859,000 – $950,000. Not only are the new homes we’re building in this location conducive to the lifestyle you’re looking for, they are also located exactly where you want to live, the heart of SouthPark.

Sharon Oaks is right in the thick of things location-wise, offering access to the mall, and a quick commute to uptown Charlotte and the Charlotte Douglas International Airport via I-77 and I-85. SouthPark is served by the Charlotte Mecklenburg School District, featuring some of the most desirable schools in Charlotte, making it an ideal location for families.

If you weren’t already convinced that a new home in SouthPark is the right choice for you and your family, take it from U.S. News who analyzed 100 cities in the United States to find the best places to live based on quality of life, job market, the value of living and people’s desire to live there. Charlotte landed itself as #15 on the list due to its unique culture, cost of living, culinary sophistication, weather and variety of small neighborhoods, each with a distinctive feel and energy.

Sharon Oaks will have ready for move-in homes by early 2017. For more information about living in a new home built by Evans Coghill Homes in Sharon Oaks, contact Forrest Ranson at 704.488.5101 or franson@evanscoghill.com.
