He shouted across the room “You don’t have to rinse those dishes. That’s a Bosch dishwasher. It can handle it” That was news to me. We always rinse dishes before putting them in the dishwasher at my house. I think my Mom told me that.

I was at the Bosch Thermador National Training Center in Phoenix, AZ. (see previous post). We were “doing the dishes” after cooking all kinds of great stuff while learning about the Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau appliances.

Then came the dishwasher lesson. “You don’t have to rinse dishes with these dishwashers.” He went on to say, “You likely would use more water rinsing the dishes than the dishwasher uses washing them.” Incredible! The Bosch dishwasher we install in many Evans Coghill homes, only uses approximately 2 gallons of water to wash an entire load, pre-rinsed or not. Some of the Thermador models use only 1.6 gallons of water.

All Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau models are energy star certified (less energy), earth friendly (less water), family friendly (less time spent washing dishes) and quiet (it is the stainless tub that does that part)
